Steve Conti was born and grew up in the Illawarra, and for the past ten years has been capturing the images of people, places, events and scenery through his lens. His images are unique and recognised for his simple yet natural artistic style.

A passionate surfer, his love for photography started when he bought his first Minolta Weathermatic Camera and would snap a few shots of his mates in between surfs. His passion grew and so did the equipment.

His natural photographic eye was recognised with his first picture being published in the renowned Tracks surfing magazine. From there his passion grew to what it is today, a successful photography business encapturing the essence of life and all its special moments.

Steve's work has been commissioned to well known worldwide magazines such as Australia's Surfing Life, Waves, Riptide, Surfing (US), and two of the biggest surfing labels in Australia, Billabong and Ripcurl have used Steve's photos in advertising their labels.

Steve's photographic talents not only extend to the surfing and sporting arena, but he has well established his photographic abilities in the following range of imagery; wedding, portraits, corporate and special events, newborn, maternity, and lifestyle.
